Bee’s Guide to a Great Cup
The Bees’ Tea Guide
Begin with a Moment
Loose leaf tea rewards intention. Settle just long enough to sense what you want from your cup: energy, clarity, or a steady, even sip. The bees believe every tea has its purpose.
Choose the Tea for Your Purpose
- Black tea gives a bright, natural lift.
- Green tea offers clear, balanced energy.
- Herbal blends are caffeine free yet refreshing and quietly invigorating.
The bees gather teas that suit early starts, long afternoons, and everything in between.
Let the Leaves Open
Loose leaf is generous in ways bagged tea rarely is. Whole leaves have space to unfurl, release deeper aroma, and show the small nuances that make each cup feel alive. An infuser, strainer, or reusable filter bag is enough to let the leaves stretch and reveal their full character. The bees approve of anything that lets the tea breathe.
Steep, Taste, Adjust
- Give the tea a few minutes, 4-5 for black, 3-4 for green, 5-7 for herbals. Taste.
- Longer steeping deepens the cup.
- Shorter steeping keeps it lighter.
Good tea invites fine-tuning instead of strict rules. The bees trust your palate.
Finish the Cup Your Way
- Milk or sugar can soften black tea.
- Honey pairs naturally with green tea.
- Herbal blends often shine plain.
Anything that makes the cup enjoyable belongs in the cup. Cookies are especially welcome. A crunchy cookie can round out a bold black tea, add contrast to a clean green tea, or bring a warm finish to an herbal blend.
