The Bees

Our partners in goodness — industrious, mysterious, and buzzing with good taste:

We don’t quite know how it works, and we’re not sure we’re supposed to. The bees don’t make a fuss, but they get things done. They’re not employees or consultants. They’re full-fledged partners.

They don’t share their names (they're a little private), but their work speaks for itself. Every tea and every cookie is touched in some way by the hive.

There’s a bit of honey in every cookie. It adds a gentle sweetness and reminds us who's really behind the magic. It also pairs beautifully with our teas, if you'd like to stir some in.

Our teas are sourced from partners who meet the trusted standards of the U.S., Canada, Japan, and the EU. These places have some of the world’s strictest standards for tea, and the bees are always up for it.

The Forager: Nobody gathers like this bee. Whether it’s sourcing the juiciest lemon or sniffing out the smoothest tea leaves, the Forager is on it. Carries a clipboard. Disappears often. Returns with something perfect every time.

The Taster: Everything we make gets a very specific look before it goes out. We’re not saying we’ve seen a bee with a monocle. But we’re also not not saying that.

The Inspector: White gloves. Flashlight. Clipboard. Every batch gets the once-over. This bee once returned an entire shipment because a ribbon was one millimeter off. We respect the commitment.

The Packager: Neat. Precise. Possibly part origami master. Once delayed a shipment because a label was off by a bee’s width. No one minds—every GoodBound tea pouch shows the care.

The Baker: Butter-stained apron. Measuring spoon in wing. This bee’s got a sixth sense for perfect crunch and won’t stop until every cookie has the right golden edge. Once halted production because the lemon oil wasn’t bright enough. Believes cookies are a love language—and frankly, we agree.

A few even agreed to pose for a quick photo!
